Course Overview
This course was created to empower motion designers with a true directorial vision. It’s not about 'copy-pasting' from vector sites; it’s about understanding the 'Why' behind every frame.
What we focus on
- Visual Storytelling: How to tell a story through design.
- Composition Principles: Mastering the balance and flow of your scenes.
- Camera Angles & Perspective: Using cinematic techniques to enhance your shots.
- Art Direction: Building a unique visual identity for every project.
I’ll guide you through Illustrator's interface and essential tools. Then, we’ll build this scene together to ensure you’ve fully mastered the basics through practical application—not just theory.
Practice: Building a scene from scratch.
Design with animation in mind. I’ll show you how to break down characters into manageable shapes and build proper joints, an essential step for a smooth rigging process later on.

Art Direction
We’ll dive deep into Art Direction and Visual Language to give your projects a soul. You’ll learn how to set unique artistic rules that make your work look like it’s from another world. By studying top-tier global studios, we’ll take a single storyboard and transform it into two completely different artistic directions.
